Our History

A family owned business with a 50 YEARS history of working with children, Squire Camps educates and inspires today’s campers with the most up-to-date educational techniques and ideas.

  • 1972

    John and Cynthia Davanzo start Squire Camps in their basement in Pelham, NY

  • 1977

    Squire Camps outgrows its humble basement and moves to Mariandale on the Hudson located in Ossining, NY

  • 1981

    Squire Camps moves to a more central location at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry

  • 2001

    Squire Camps evolves and moves to the Master's School where they are able focus on enrichment and total choice for campers.

  • 2015

    Squire Camps once again moves to centralize and settles in its current location at the Maria Regina High School in Hartsdale in Westchester County.

Squire Camps is a set of four distinct summer day camp programs located at the Maria Regina High School Campus in Hartsdale, Westchester County, NY. 

We cater to the camper who is both academically and athletically driven, who seeks new experiences within a well-structured and supervised environment.

Squire Camps is uniquely catered to the child who wants it all! Campers design their custom schedule from a list of over 50 exciting courses including cooking, swimming, robotics, computers, art, photography, and more!
